Cost of the sellers information pack

The cost to the seller of compiling the information pack was initially estimated at between £350-400 (The Bristol pilot scheme was reported to have cost £600.)

Whatever the cost of the compiling the seller's information pack this is an up front charge which the vendor will have to stand whether the property sells or not. If the property does not sell within a given time frame there will be additional costs involved in renewing the searches and possibly updating some of the other information. It is not unreasonable to assume that most vendors will look to recoup the cost of the pack through an enhanced selling price for their property.
